The Duty Manager will provide excellent customer service while also ensuring Toronto Island Marina continues to be an enjoyable, professional and safe environment for customers and staff.
 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise a team of 10+ summer staff
• Complete marina opening and closing procedures
• Handle cash and end-of-day reconciliation
• Complete transactions for purchases made at the chandlery
• Interact with customers in person, via email or phone
• Manage visitor reservations, arrivals, and departures
• Ensure all summer staff adhere to Toronto Island Marina health and safety practices and procedures
• Perform administrative and other tasks as assigned
• Ensure high customer and staff morale

Requirements

• Must be available to work flexible hours throughout the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Experience in a marine environment or working near water is an asset
• Ontario Pleasure Craft Operator Card is an asset
• First Aid Certification required
• Strong customer service skills required

Between April 15th – 30th
