We are looking to grow our sales team at our expanding marina.

The successful sales team member is someone who is very knowledgeable about boats, and has a passion for the industry.

Duties Include

• Recommending different types of boats to suit customers needs.

• Explaining construction and performance of boats.

• Arranging and overseeing of delivery, registration, and inspection of a new boat.

• Completing any and all paperwork pertaining to the sales of products.

• Showing product in the showroom and at off-site displays or shows.

• Introducing customers to dealership team to emphasize the quality and efficiency of dealership’s service operations.
• Recommend different types of boats and power sports equipment to customers as per their needs and specifications.

   

•  Participation in boat shows and off-site promotions.

• Having full knowledge of our product line, features, and accessories available for purchase

   

•  Sales Representative Job Duties:

• Have demonstrated great customer follow up and prospecting.

• Be a results-driven self-starter.

• Be outgoing.

• Have excellent interpersonal and written skills.

• Be familiar with quoting and manufacturing processes.

• Be accountable for achieving sales margin targets.

• Assist with the company’s overall marketing efforts and new product development.

• Closing skills

• Ability to satisfy customers through entire sales cycle

• Working knowledge of social media sales techniques

  Have at least 5 years of experience in sales. (Preferably in major item sales such as marine, automotive or recreational sales)

• Have a valid Class G Driver’s License and clean driving record.

• Familiarity with boating, outboards, stern drives considered an asset.

   

• Weekend work required.
