Hybrid BOATS - Boating Ontario Annual Trade Show
BOATS kicks off the conference Monday evening. Enjoy music and a drink while you network with trade partners and fellow delegates. This year, you will be able to check out exhibitors in person, in the Great Hall AND online through the Boating Ontario Conference site. A great event like this should be available to all!
NEW Conference Platform – Connecting virtual and in-person experiences
We are beyond ecstatic to offer both in-person and virtual conference experiences for 2021. What is a virtual conference anyway? Well, virtual delegates will be able to join us through a Boating Ontario Conference site to experience live speakers, Q&A, and even a virtual Boating Ontario Annual Trade Show (BOATS). A maximum of 5 delegates may join with one Virtual Conference Registration.

Meeting New Expectations
For the 2021 Boating Ontario Conference we are following the Provincial Guidelines that refer to meetings & events, as well as the safety recommendations from the Marriott (Sheraton on the Falls).
- Provincial regulations require that proof of full vaccination (2 vaccinations + 14 days) is implemented for meeting and event spaces such as conferences.
- Meetings and event spaces will have less contact & more convenience – reduced seating capacity and virtual options will be available.
- Meals and breaks will include spaces reserved exclusively for conference delegates, and redesigned food and beverage stations to accommodate distancing.
- Deeper and more frequent cleaning including disinfecting, and sanitizing restrooms every hour. Hand sanitizing stations will also be made available throughout meeting spaces.
- Face covering policy is in place, all hotel associates will wear face coverings as part of their uniform. The hotel will also require all guests to wear a face covering unless seated.

Robert Eaton Environmental Award celebrates individuals and businesses who are dedicated to environmental responsibility and stewardship while contributing their time and resources to advancing their efforts in the Boating Ontario Clean Marine program.
President’s Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated an individual who strives for excellence and whose passion creates a positive long-term impact on the boating industry.

The MarineWorx Development Fund is an industry-funded, education-focused program for members of all sizes, markets, and segments of recreational boating. The focus of MarineWorx is to assist all employees or prospective employees in the Ontario marine workforce with expenses incurred as they further their career. The goal is to create a sustainable long-term funding model that will lead the recreational marine sector to addressing our workforce challenge in all areas of businesses including service, parts, sales, and operations.
