About Acali Place Marina

Full service marina situated on 9 acres of property surrounded by conservation parks to the north and south with direct access to the Detroit River.

Enjoy an evening stroll along the Petite Cote Conservation Area boardwalk adjacent to the marina and watch the stunning sunsets from the observation platform. Better still, board your boat and a short ride to the south brings you to the natural beauty of Turkey Island where you can safely beach your boat and enjoy an afternoon with family and friends exploring the island and enjoying the water. Further south is Crystal Bay, famous for it clear waters ideal for overnighting in a protected bay. This is a great weekend gathering spot for the boating community on both sides of the border.

Beyond Crystal Bay is Boblo-Island, another great cruising destination leading to Lake Erie and the western basin known for its islands including Pele Island all within a day’s cruising. A trip north from Acali allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Windsor-Detroit Waterfront and then to beautiful Peche Island, another favorite cruising grounds. Explore the Hiram Walker Ruins while enjoying the island trails. Beyond the island, Lake St. Clair provides many cruising destinations while leading you to the St. Clair River and beyond.

On-site restoration services are available including all elements of woodworking, bright work and painting in our 2400 square foot shop. Stop in and see what projects we have on the go. We are currently finishing the restoration of a 1963 31' Chris Craft Sea Skiff including a complete new transom, framing and planking.

Products & Services

Acali Place Marina offers 95 docks, each serviced with water and power. Park your car directly behind your dock and enjoy a grassy area for picnic tables and fire pits. Enjoy the use of our blockhouse which includes washrooms with showers, pop and ice machines.

We offer a pump out service on-site and support our boating community with 2 marine travel lifts (40 Ton and 20 Ton), Hydraulic Marine Trailer (30,000 LBS capacity) and launch ramp, all complementing our on-site service and maintenance facilities.

We are a full-service marina providing basic maintenance services to major engine and systems rebuilds. 20, 000 sq. feet of indoor radiant heat indoor storage and 4 acres of outdoor storage available for winter layup is complemented with complete winterizing services. Our winterizing machine guarantees that your engine, generator and AC systems are safe from cracking. Our system eliminates the need for draining blocks and removing plugs and hoses saving the potential of damaging while servicing.
