Warranty & Service Support (Bilingual)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

-        Provide marine technical support to service related phone/fax or other inquiries from dealers, boatbuilders, government agencies and consumers

-        Review and process warranty claims and make adjustments following policy

-        Verify parts returned for inspection, match claim detail

-        Review French customer surveys and respond to consumers as required

-        Assist in classroom preparation and changeover

-        Responsible for inspecting core return products

-        Enter return authorizations of serialized product and prepare documents

Education & Experience

-        High school graduate plus two years technical college

-        Minimum two years marine service or dealership experience

-        Small engine or marine engine technical experience

-        Experience with Oracle or AS400 applications an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

-        Technical knowledge of recreational marine engine systems

-        Bilingual - English and French

-        Competent computer skills

-        Strong communication and organizational skills

-        Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain the relationships with customers

-        Ability to push engine stands and lift up to 50 lbs.
