Marine / small engine pre-apprentice students are seeking a 4-week (160 hours) non-paid field placement, beginning in late April. This field placement is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Training of Ontario and is offered at no cost to the employer.

Let us know your interest in requesting a student by completing and submitting the Job Posting form. Please fill out a job posting and indicate if there is the possibility of full time employment and/or an apprenticeship after a successful placement.

We ask that you complete and fill the placement posting form by clicking here and submit Georgian College (see contact information below) as soon as possible as our students are looking for placements now.

Georgian College is now offering levels 1, 2, and 3 for the marine apprenticeship and levels 1 and 2 for the small engine apprenticeship. Please contact Tom Roberts at 705-526-3666 extension 3731 if you want more information regarding apprenticeship training.
