The International Sailing Federation Sailing World Championship is taking place in Perth, Australia December 2011. The Championship series will determine which nations qualify to compete in the 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition that will take place in London.
The Canadian Sailing Team has travelled to Australia in hopes of leaving with a ticket to the Olympics. Perth is known for its strong winds which make the competition more challenging and thus ideal for the Olympic qualification process.
