Page: 5 - Gananoque

Gananoque is an historic town that figured prominently in the War of 1812.  It is now an industrial and tourist town that is known as the Gateway  to the Canadian Thousand Islands.  It features shops and amenities all close to the water, as well as live theatre at the waterfront, a major boatline and charity casino.

Gananoque Boat Lines

Gordon Marine, which is easily accessible from the channel, lies on the waterfront on the east end of town.  It is located between the mouth of the Gananoque River and the Thousand Islands Playhouse.  The public dock in Gananoque is right on the exposed waterfront beside the tour boat docks.  There is also a public, short term dock in the Gananoque Municipal Marina on the west end of town.
